COOLMAX®
The specially engineered DuPont fibers used in CoolMax® fabrics transport perspiration away from the body to the outer layer of the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly. At the same time, the uniquely shaped fibers provide great breathability, even when wet. The breathability (called air permeability by fabric techies) further enhances the thermoregulatory effect, keeping your feet dry and cool.

ABT BRAKE
Rollerblade's exclusive, award winning, Active Braking Technology® (ABT) started the inline skating revolution by making skating a safer, more enjoyable activity for beginner and experts alike. Stopping was always the biggest barrier to entering the sport for newcomers, but nothing accelerated interest in skating like this revolutionary braking system. Instead of lifting your toe down, just slide your braking foot forward. This movement forces the cuff back, which lowers the brake to the ground for reliable, controlled stopping. ABT brakes can even be adjusted to different heights to accommodate individual skaters, skating styles, and brake wear. Because ABT® allows you to keep all eight wheels on the ground there’s nowhere you can’t go!

This new, minimalistic shell is incredibly sleek, yet ultra-stable, providing the perfect amount of support while reducing all unnecessary weight. Through years of extensive research into biomechanical forces of a skate, Rollerblade engineers have identified the crucial points of support needed to significantly reduce foot fatigue – allowing you to skate more comfortably, for longer periods of time.
TriForce™ Lite channels energy created during the stride directly to the wheelbase, creating an incredibly efficient, powerful stride. TFS™ CLOSURE SYSTEM (Total Fit System)
Since Rollerblade’s inception, it has always been synonymous with innovation. The large majority of in-line skates have the typical lace, buckle, and power strap closure system. Rollerblade created a revolutionary system that makes putting the skate on quick and effortless, while fitting more precisely than possible with laces or buckles. The system also enables an exact fit every time, by adjusting to the contours of your foot. It is easy, speedy, comfortable, light and extremely effective.

WOMEN'S FIT
Rollerblade has been making a women’s specific fit inline skate longer than any company. Through extensive research over the years, there were many considerations to the developments of adapting to the physiological differences between men’s and women’s legs and feet. Rollerblade skates provide a precise fit adapted to a woman’s anatomical characteristics, optimizing both comfort and musculoskeletal support. In addition, their women’s skates provide the perfect heel-toe pitch for the female stride and center of balance, thereby increasing overall ergometric performance.
The following is a list of women’s different foot and leg characteristics:
- Narrower feet
- Less foot volume
- Lower calf muscles
- Toe-heel 3–4 mm higher compared to men
- More pronounced foot arch
- Higher instep
- More nail polish (not a real factor in the developement but a noted difference)

WOMEN'S FIT LINERS
From these observations, Rollerblade has designed the “Women’s Fit Liners” on a true women’s last (shape):
- Making the heel area thicker in the footbeds to adapt for the higher toe – heel and volume difference
- Incorporated a lower “V”-shaped cuff to accommodate for the lower calf muscles, allowing the fit to be more comfortable.
