Making A Purchase

Shipping And Handling Postage charges at Skate Asylum depend on the value of your order. For orders of up to £49.99, postage is £3. For orders between £50 and £149.99 the postage charge is £5. For orders of £150 and over postage is free. Please note that free postage applies to UK mainland only and does not include areas detailed below. Our deliveries are made by either Royal Mail for small packages or Parcel Force for larger items. PLEASE NOTE that certain rural areas of the UK and those outside of mainland UK will incur an additional surcharge. This surcharge will only apply to orders weighing in excess of 2 kilos. The surcharge will be as follows: 2.1kilos - 4 kilos surcharge of £10.00 4.1kilos - 10kilos surcharge of £15.00 We are unable to ship orders above 10 kilos unless you are prepared to pay the additional charges incurred. We will notify you by telephone or e-mail if a surcharge is required. These areas include AB31-38, AB40-56, BT-Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, HS-Isle of Lewis, IM-Isle of Man, IV-Inverness, PH-Inverness, KA27-KA28, KW-Orkney Isles, PA-Renfrewshire, ZE- Shetland, Isles of Scilly. Your order will be despatched as soon as possible, subject to stock levels, but please allow 5 - 10 working days for delivery. If there is going to be a delay for any reason we will notify you by e-mail or phone, and you will be given the option to cancel your order. Deliveries will require a signature. If no-one is present at the delivery address the parcel will be taken back to your local Royal Mail or Parcel Force distribution centre, and a calling card left. The card will tell you where your parcel is being stored and provide a contact number. Returns Policy At Skate Asylum we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy with the products in any way you may return them within 14 days of receipt, for either a full refund (less delivery charges) or a replacement. All you pay for is the return postage. If the reason for return is because of an error on our part, or the product is faulty, we will also refund the cost of the return postage. Refunds will be made as soon as possible after returned goods are received and checked by us. In all cases please telephone or e-mail us before returning an item. You will be issued with a returns number which must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. This will help in the processing of your returned package and avoid any unnecessary delays. Returned items must be in a new and unused condition, with all tags and packaging included. Please note that dvd's and videos cannot be returned for refund unless sealed as new in their cellophane wrap. When returning goods, please include the order number from your invoice, and the reason for return. Please note that due to the nature of the sport, we will not replace broken skateboards. This does not affect your statutory rights.
