THERE ARE FOUR KEY ELEMENTS THAT MAKE THE ARMADILLO PROTECTIVE SYSTEM SO EFFECTIVE:

• ENERGY DISSIPATION - Armadillo armour is extremely effective in the diffusion of impact energy. It is comprised of a series of overlapping plates that dissipate force by colliding with each other in rapid succession. The result is that the force of impact is distributed over the hard structure of the outer shell and diffused before it reaches the body (under normal usage conditions).

• ABSORBTION - Any remaining impact force is neutralised further by an inner layer of memory foam that lies fastened immediately underneath the protective outer hard shell. This quality cushioning provides an additional thick layer of diffusion between the skin and the outer layer of armour.

• MOVEMENT - Armadillo armour is fully moveable and flexible because it is made up of individual plates that are interconnected by internal ligaments. This assembly enables freedom of movement throughout the whole structure ensuring that all moving body parts are protected without restriction. The armour adheres to the contours, shape and size of the individual and provides a unique fit for maximum comfort.

• DETACHABILITY - Armadillo armour is affixed to the carrier or sleeve using sections of Velcro that hold it firmly in place during use. Afterwards the outer shell can be removed from the supporting garment enabling the wearer to wash the unit separately. Coolmax ingredients help make the fabric components easy to wear and maintain.
